I have Windows 11 Home. When I run it in the console, it exits after about 1.5 seconds.
When I try to compile it using the makefile, I get this:
main.cpp:37:12: warning: variable 'g_movesPerSession' set but not used [-Wunused-but-set-global]
37 | static int g_movesPerSession = 0;
| ^
1 warning generated.
collect2.exe: error: ld returned 8 exit status
mingw32-make: *** [Makefile:34: GreKo.exe] Error 1
AI says it can be because of incorrect Makefile syntax and recommends to replace ".o: .cpp" with "%.o: %.cpp" in Makefile.
Don't know however how this can be the main reason.

Replaced, same error message. Warning disappeared.
Looks like Makefile incorrectly determines your platform and includes unix.cpp into build.
You can try to compile with a simple command without Makefile:

Probably MinGW somehow uses dynamic linkage and as a result the binary requires some .dll to run. I will prepare the build with explicitly specified static linkage and update the archive.
