Arena Main book is a generic opening book with wild variety which is not a good approach for a specific engine style.....Bottom line

While your at it, can you please give us some facts about the subject? I think people will continue to ask about opinions, from trusted people, until there is a clear-cut facts to see.
And until then, your opinion does count.
Are we finding something out yet?

No Harry, you're definitely wrong here,it's optimized for the Rybka playing style matching it's playing strength in the middle game.....Har wrote:To clear up: The Rybka book is also a general book and has veryDr.Wael Deeb wrote:Arena Main book is a generic opening book with wild variety which is not a good approach for a specific engine style.....Bottom line

I guess there is only one way to find out which abk is better for Rybka's style of play, and that is to let them play against each other.
The one which performs better is the best suited for Rybka's style of play.
Since there are only two books who are fighting for the title, Harry Schnapp and Dr. Wael Deeb books, it is also most logical to end this once and for all.
All this voting makes no sence, as one of the contenders will always say that his book is better than the other one.
It is time to end this.

So do you have any facts to prove that it's a normal book and not optimized for Rybka

I don't think so....
