Very strange. I've been experimenting with the cookies,...

After logging in, try navigating to http://www.talkchess.com. That particular page seems to be invalidating the session, so you'll have to log in again even if you checked the "automatically log in" box. Try bookmarking http://www.talkchess.com/forum/ and using that to enter the forums instead. So far it's working for me.

Hi,
After a 3 days struggle,I finaly managed to log in....
I personaly think that the forum had been hacked by someone who had left and was so pissed off....

Well, if so, he wasn't THAT pissed off, I've been on boards that were hacked before, and sometimes they delete everything, even the backups. So making us having problems to log in is not THAT bad, but still annoying

I can add that even after I log in manualy,the forum doesn't show me the new posts....

I can now log in but the automatic login function wont work.

I believe it has to do with the way the page is redirected. Firefox only remembers the login information for the original page, and wont log you into a redirection of that page. So, if the original page is an IP address and it redirects you to a different IP address, the automatic login wont work. (Something like that anyway).

Did the address for Talkchess change in the past week?
