One more win, or two more draws, and the game goes to Zappa. Can Rybka do the almost impossible? I cant wait.

Zappa has 3.5 out of 5, it needs 2 more wins or 4 more draws

I think the other several hundred games were by Zap Zanzibar, and this is Zappa Mexico.

Extremely serious about Rybka being the best.
Males utterly devoted to Rybka.

Or in other words just stupid kids, which find every time new excuses if rybka doesn't win a game.
I wouldn't say them kids, the people that want to find excuses for losses of their favourite supporting thing, whatever this thing is.

I have seen these kind of excuses happen in a broad area of such things. From Chess program's fans, to fans of a Formula 1 team, to fans of a basketball team etc....
The passionate supporters always find the most ridiculous excuses and they are doing it repeatedly, and i assure you that they are not kids. In fact they are clever people, even too clever like professors, teachers, mathematicians, etc.
When they do not talk about their favourite team, etc they are perfectly logical. Whey they talk they do like kinds....
After his son's birth they've asked him:
"Is it a boy or girl?"
YES! He replied.....

Look at this, for example: http://computerchess.org.uk/ccrl/404/

I know it's blitz, 40/40 games are hard to pruduce by the hundred.
40/40 games were already played

http://computerchess.org.uk/ccrl/4040.l ... t_all.html

1 Rybka 2.3.2a 64-bit 4CPU 3116 +26 −25 73.5% −158.8 37.5% 546
2 Rybka 2.3.2a 64-bit 2CPU 3098 +25 −25 77.9% −190.8 36.3% 603
3 Zappa Mexico 64-bit 4CPU 3091 +62 −62 50.0% −0.5 48.6% 74
4 Rybka 2.3.2a 64-bit 3071 +21 −20 76.5% −190.1 32.2% 947
5 Zap!Chess Zanzibar 64-bit 4CPU 3050 +22 −22 64.6% −91.0 46.4% 679

Zappa Mexico 64-bit 4CPU-Rybka 2.3.2a 64-bit 4CPU 14,5-17.5
Zappa Mexico 64-bit 4CPU– Rybka 2.3.2a 64-bit 22.5-19.5

For comparison in the blitz list we have:

1)Rybka 2.3.2a 64-bit 4CPU 3129 +87 −81 71.4% −141.0 32.7% 49
73.0%
2)Rybka 2.3.2a 64-bit 2CPU 3102 +14 −14 76.1% −186.5 32.6% 2039
3) Rybka 2.3.2a 64-bit 3081 +24 −24 78.7% −204.3 30.5% 696
65.8%
4)Zappa Mexico 64-bit 4CPU 3031 +26 −25 65.1% −108.7 37.5% 520
5) Zap!Chess Zanzibar 64-bit 4CPU 3019 +15 −15 61.1% −73.7 41.7% 1400

You can see that longer time control help zap relative to rybka.
It is not based on a single version but based on both versions.

Note that the longer time control improvement confirmed also by cegt(I could not check the case of 4 processors so I checked only the case of 2 and I could not check the case of mexico so I checked only zanzibar but
it seems that mexico earns more than zanzibar from longer time control)

I think Zappa Mexico is close, I wonder if it beats Rybka at 8 cores (Like, on the match so far).

For some reason I thought it was an 8 game match. Now it has 4/6, so I guess if it can manage 3 more draws...
