I spent 2 hours of my precious time for solving this
same problem. I was unsuccessful. Copying two
ms*.dlls to system directory does not help further.
I am still getting: The Application failed to initialize
properly (0x80000003). Click on OK to terminate
the application

Re: Atak 6.0
Forget bloody Atak. It has no sense to fight a badly made engine when you have 500 to choose.

Hi Tony and the Gang,
bugfixed version just released.
I'll give this version a few tries as well.

Mustang 4.97 also, although it's time management after the first time control leaves something to be desired, even when you include the line LevelExtend=strict.Matthias Gemuh wrote:Tony Thomas wrote: You cant expect a mustang engine to work perfectly in a Camaro.
Mustang 4.69 works perfectly in all WB2 GUIs

Nice way to ruin a dry joke..The new atak works fine under Arena as a winboard engine. Since it never supported incremental time control, I decided to level the playing field and played 3+0 and it shows an improvement of 110 points.Graham Banks wrote:Mustang 4.97 also, although it's time management after the first time control leaves something to be desired, even when you include the line LevelExtend=strict.Matthias Gemuh wrote:Tony Thomas wrote: You cant expect a mustang engine to work perfectly in a Camaro.

Atak doesn't support pondering, it has no support for the winboard easy and hard commands.

I have been using the picture of that little square inside the folder for a while. About time I get a logo that matches the name. Thanks Graham...Graham Banks wrote:
