Thanks for including such a large number of engine versions! I saw that you also included all available versions of "Surprise".

What is your definition of "too few games" for your list?

Sven
Engines have played less than 10 games removed.
Please note that there are still a couple of engines left with less than 10 games (most with 9 games, few with 8 or 7). No problem for me of course, just a hint.

A tricky issue might be that after removing those engines with <10 games, including also all their games, there might now be others whose game count drops below 10. A possible solution might be to always keep all games but to skip listing those engines with <10 games in the rating list. I don't know whether that is better but at least it is an algorithm that terminates quickly without the need for several iterations ;-)

Nevertheless, thanks again for your tremendous effort!

Sven
Yes, I already seen this phenomenon. At the beginning, I ran the batch 5-6 times to removes a couple of hundreds engines more but now I leave the list like that. That's not a big problem as the number is very low.

Just one little thing: which are the latest included CountryChess games? I played with WaDuuttie 14nov2012 in my Dutch tournament and the latest version in your list is 13-05-2012; just wondering.

Regards,
Geert
In fact, I've not updated the games from Countrychess since you gave me the big compressed PGN some months ago. The reason is that I can't follow all what happens on a blog. CEGT and CCRL have a simple system : update a file at the same place.
Geert if you give me a fix adress with all the games from Countrychess, I would be happy to use them.

Thanks,
Vincent

OK Vincent,

Here's a dropbox link with all games (6893, the latest file I sent you contained 5609 games). I'll try to update this file regularly, or I will try to find something which makes it more comfortable for you to download the games.

Best regards,
Geert

Can't speak for others, but in CCRL, a 64-bit engine always has the 64-bit in the name. Therefore, without that, it would be the 32-bit version.

Bruja 1.91 (=? Bruja 1.9.1) YES
Ghost 2.01 (=? Ghost 2.0.1) YES
jabba (no version number???) indeed: it's a 64-bit compile of dann Corbit; latest version didn't work here
Magnum Chess 3.0 (r20) ( =? Magnum 3.0 ) - It's a revision of Jim Ablett, called revision 20 (r20)
Mephisto Gideon (=? Mephisto Gideon Pro ) Yes, otherwise the name is too long for Fritzgui
OliThink 5.32 (=? OliThink 5.3.2) YES
Spark 1.0 corei 64-bit (why "corei" in the name ?
Cause the author gave the name to its file himself :-). Corei probably means core intel. )
I always make use of 64-bit compiles if they are available and working properly. And I try to create some uniformity in engine numbers, like 1.91, since we also talk about let's say ProDeo 1.82 (and not 1.8.2) and Amyan 1.72 (and not 1.7.2).
But, I'd like to do an efford to make my engine names compatible with yours, so you don't have all this kind of work to do.

It would be very nice if you could add 64-bit for engines (as other testers do) because now that wrecked the rating of the 32-bit engines :/

Vincent

The 64 bit compile of jabba is version 1.0

Thanks for your work
