WChess 1.06 was included in the first gauntlet I run for CCRL, and I think there's no way to change the around 11.000-12.000 k hash memory it shows, so I tested it this way.
Sorry I'm not a great help.

Cheers.
In fact, you are quite a big help. And I thank you for taking the time to stop and help me. Your answer is just as valuable to me as it would have been if you told me how to change it. Because knowing you had to test it this way, it won't bother me at all to do it as well. When one with your expertise tells me this- I can rest easy with testing it myself.

Thanks again, and all the best to you-

I can't be 100% sure, since it's been almost 10 years. But I think that the engine accepted a commandline parameter to set the hash size (and possibly other things as well). An examination of the exe in a hex editor might give some clues. If you e-mail me the program at JVMerlino@aol.com, I might be able to come to some conclusions.

Just got back online a few minutes ago. Be on the lookout for it in your mail. If you could change the hash, as close to 128mb as you could get it would be appreciated. That way you could send it back and I would not have to follow instructions to do it myself. (Which I imagine I would fail miserably at)

Best,
