You should try updating your video card drivers. Are you using multiple monitors?
I use a single 34" Ultrawide monitor and I tried several times to duplicate your problem but could not.

If your expectations come true, the world will be free from any software.

Please write if you are using the same version of the program as me. The program is available at the link https://rwbc-chess.de/download.htm

I have a program set on the desktop as follows - file 1.

Turn off the monitor and turn it on - but not from the current.

I already have a program set on the desktop - as in file 2.

Have you tried this with other chess gui's or even try it with a Notepad to see if they do the same?
You also may want to try downloading cutechess from cutechess.com to see if there is a difference.

If you do a google search for "windows resize when monitor sleeps" you can see many people have had a similar issue with a variety of software so I don't believe this is a cutechess issue.

Unfortunately you're right - something wrong with me with Windows 10 x64. I'm not sure what to do yet.

I have to apologize to all concerned people - unfortunately Windows 10 is to blame.

I think there is an incompatibility between Windows 10 and QT. Over here I have a few programs showing the same behavior and what struck me is that these are all based on QT. This is what happens when you try to bring Linux stuff to Windows, it is never up to date.

This is the obvious fault of Windows. Not QT. The problem is how the monitor is connected to the desktop computer. If you connect DVI cables, you will not have this problem. When you connect with a DP or HDMI cable, the problem will return. I know the solution to this problem, but here I will not write about it.
