Very interesting, so you already beat Komodo 12.1 with a 1 Rook odds, Now you are beating Komodo 12.1 more confidently with two Knights Odds, NEXT you should try 2 Rooks Odds and see if you can beat it with half of the moves that you already beat Komodo 12.1 with 1 Rook Oddspepechuy wrote: ↑Tue Jun 07, 2022 4:02 am Hi.
Now, the second game against Komodo.
A win for me, but a difficult one.
I like my moves 15... e6 and 16... f6, playing without fear against white's pawn avalanche.
I missed 20. Re6, but fortunately I did not lose much material: I was "only" a rook up after that.
The game remained quite complicated. I also like my move 21... Ne5.
I was somewhat worried that Komodo would play 29. Re5 (also Re5 in the next few moves).
I guess it is not very good, since Komodo did not play it.
31... e4 was a good liberating move for me, I began to feel confident about the win after it.
All in all, I think I played well under pressure, in a complex position, and kept the advantage till the end.

That is another kind of challenge (trying to minimize the number of moves to win, with a huge material advantage... two rooks).
I am not particularly interested in pursuing it.

Hi.
The final game of this challenge, against Stockfish.
A win for me.
There is very striking contrast between this game and the first game against Stockfish (which I lost).
This time, Stockfish simply did not offer any resistance, allowing an exchange of queens on move 5.
My original plan for these challenges was to play my usual openings, just with material advantage.
But for this game in particular I decided to play something different, the Scandinavian (not in my usual repertoire, I think I have not played it since I was a beginner experimenting with all openings).

Re: Two-knight odds match: human vs engines.
Have you tried to set Komodo 13.1 Elo to 2000 and remove the b2 pawn for the first game, then the c2 pawn, followed by d2, and e2 but not the f2 or g2 since it will play too weak. If it beat you set the Elo to 1900 and try those pawns odds that I mentioned, that would be more interesting for us to watch. Te deceo suerte Amigopepechuy wrote: ↑Wed Jun 08, 2022 6:04 am Hi.

So, this challenge is over after two rounds.
The results, all from my perspective.
Crafty 1
Komodo 1/2 1
Lc0 1
Stockfish 0 1
I dropped 1.5 points in 6 games.
0.5 dropped points against Komodo (2 games), and 1 dropped point against Stockfish (2 games).
Next, I will reboot the rook odds challenge, but only against Komodo and Stockfish.
Those are the engines that have a newer version since my first rook odds match.
Greetings.

Greetings. For example I took Komodo Dragon 2.6.1 and set it to Elo = 2100 and removed the f7 pawn took see how easy it was to beat it, well here it is. Next I will play Black with Komodo Dragon set to 2100 with the f2 pawn removed, after I beat it I will see if i can still beat it with the e2 pawn removed

Re: Two-knight odds match: human vs engines.
Here is the 2nd game, Having the first move for Komodo Dragon set to Elo = 2100 was a big difference and Komodo Dragon kept the pressure on me for the entire game oh well, I will have to continue playing until I figure out how to equalize playing Black even if it take me 50 games
Note: Komodo set to Elo = 2100 playing White with the f2 missing is too strong for me, I will set it to 2050 for the next game and try again after 30 minutes
