Re: New engine: LazySMP
My point was that you could analyze private engine very differently depending on the number of games. It might be possible to identify areas of strength and weakness, for example, if you could play with Torch engine.

Thanks to Alex, I've fixed the castling bug in version 2.1. I am impatiently waiting to see my engine on the CCRL ranking list.Gabor Szots wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2024 3:13 pm But now, based on your conversation with Alex, I am certainly postponing the test until your engine can make legal moves.
I have to say I'm surprised that you did not notice the bug yoursef.

You are seriously disrespectful here.LazySMP wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2024 2:45 pm
Dear Mr. Gabor, I'm very sorry but from the beginning I wanted to test my engine privately, but you said it's not possible. While many engines are private in CCRL, please clarify if there are any rules for testing private engines. Anyway, even though I publicized my engine on GitHub, you refuse to test it.

[Moderation] I deleted some postings that were making unmotivated accusations for seemingly no reason at all. Note that libelous personal attacks are a charter violation, and those persisting in it will be banned.

Now what you gonna say about the fact that the entire existence of this troll's github is no longer and we appeared to be right all along?

Re: New engine: LazySMP
Whether you are right or not is completely irrelevant. If you accuse someone without a shred of evidence, the fact that he turns out to be guilty is nothing more than a matter of luck. If you shoot the first person that knocks on your door because you expected to be visited by an assassin that day, you deserve to be put away in an asylum for the rest of your life even if it happened to be the assassin. Claiming it was self-defense won't fly; you willingly took the chance to kill the mail-man, or your neighbor, and are a menace to society.
If you want to accuse someone of something, show the evidence. If the fact that someone withdraws his engine from the public after getting a reception by that same public like we have seen here is evidence of anything at all, it is that he is not insane.

Re: New engine: LazySMP
Thanks to the moderators for removing some offensive posts.
2- I had no desire to release my engine on Github. I published the first version of LazySMP on OneDrive and sent it to Mr. Gabor.
However, on Mr. Gabor's advice, I created a GitHub account and published my engine there.
3- I am not here to answer irrelevant questions. If you have any feedback on my engine I would really appreciate it!
1- After creating this topic, a number of users sent insulting messages to my GitHub repository. So I preferred to make my account private. To prove that my account is active, I've added a reaction here: https://github.com/official-stockfish/S ... 4-81c1d310noobpwnftw wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2024 11:12 am Now what you gonna say about the fact that the entire existence of this troll's github is no longer and we appeared to be right all along?

I am not CCRL but decided to play a 1000 game match against Fruit 2.1
But already in the first gane LazySMP lost connection and the match was aborted.

How are you supposed to be able to test if there is no program or source code?LazySMP wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2024 1:38 pm Thanks to the moderators for removing some offensive posts.
