yep i mixed you up (Uri B) with that other Uri (sorry).
Somehow assumed (without thinking) it was the same person (cannot find more name
info for this 'uri' but i know who you are (eg from the chessprogramming wiki).
In problem chess the combination of human/comp will remain
stronger than only comp, but that's something else
In a normal game the (top)engines have won, although the 1 sec
which i mentioned (against a strong GM 90/30) should be on a (very) fast
comp of course, otherwise around 10 sec would do.

two against Fritz/"Comp Fritz/Primergy K800" (Frankfurt rapid)
and one against "Comp Shredder 5.31"(in 2001) Berlin rapid.
here's the game he lost (Fritz - Shirov) , 1-0

then there are (besides the well known Kramnik Fritz games) some Deep Junior game

and in 2005 some Fritz/Hydra games
https://en.chessbase.com/post/8-4-final ... what-next-
and in 2008/9 there were some tourns in Argentina won by Pocket Fritz
but i haven't seen the games, only the tourn results eg:

Nowadays, with the strongest Nnue programs, (contrary to Uri B) i think
that even the top super GM''s don't stand a chance, which is
also reason for them not to play, i suppose (with time odds
some of them might be able to draw, 90/30 for them, and eg. one
sec /move for the engine); would be no fun to play/nor watch.
This Uri who claimed humans will always be better is not me:

He claimed that computers are always going to be better in the following subject and I remember also earlier and I did not see the point of discussing something that is obviously wrong so I did not reply.

Free will and the possibility of selecting paths in freedom, for better and for worse, the will, and many more features of our soul, make us people, "unique and unrepeatable beings" irreplaceable by machines. In addition, the strength that comes with being a computer has irremediable cracks. It is my simple point of view.
I am thinking chess is in a coin.Human beings for ever playing in one face. Now I am playing in the other face:"Antichess". Computers are as a fortres where owner forgot to close a little door behind. You must enter across this door.Forget the front.
