Nearly no changes since Halogen 10.23.11 (March, 14, Ipman-compile of dev-version). Only changes since then: Simplify the code for history tables (March, 16). Small clean-ups (May, 20)... Disappointing. But I will do a testrun, because this is a official release-version.

Not disappointing for those who only test official releases though.

Yeah if you've already tested 10.23.11, then this won't be any different. I decided to make an official major release considering it had been 18 months since Halogen 10 and I've gained a considerable amount of elo, and most people only test major releases.

OK, thank you for this confirmation. Then there is no need for me, testing Halogen 11.

I got several feedbacks, which told me, that they like my testings of non-official development versions. And I find this interesting, too. So, I will continue to do so.

Of course. I wasn't criticizing you.
I like to test developmental versions sometimes as well. :)

Drofa_3.3.22 pre-release.
Drofa_3.3.22 will be a last version that is using ONLY hand-crafted evaluation (HCE).

Self-play results (LTC, 8moves_noob book) vs 3.3.0 version:

Code: Select all

    ELO | 85.21 +- 3.32 (95%)
    CONF | 40.0+0.40s Threads=1 Hash=64MB
    GAMES | N: 20000 W: 7203 L: 2394 D: 10403

I've released a new version of Seer here: https://github.com/connormcmonigle/seer ... tag/v2.6.0. Under UHO selfplay testing conditions, this release adds approximately 100 Elo:

Code: Select all

CONF | 40.0+0.40s Threads=1 Hash=64MB
GAMES | N: 20000 W: 8175 L: 2148 D: 9677
