A fork and update of the Sturddle Engine, with the neural network redesigned, rewritten, and trained from scratch:

https://github.com/cristivlas/sturddle-2/
https://github.com/cristivlas/sturddle- ... e-2.00.exe

According to my testing it is about 100 ELO stronger than the previous version (Sturddle 1.04)

A casual app built around the engine is available here: https://github.com/cristivlas/sturddle- ... p/releases, with side-loading binary for Android, and Windows installer. App supports voice commands, and features an OpenAI-powered chat assistant (available when the voice interface feature is turned on, requires users to bring their own OpenAI API key).

Zangdar 2.31.04

This version corrects a bug, which causes "loses on time".

Hello! In My Arena 3.5.1 Sturddle plays too fast with 20s+3s tc (both 1.xx and 2.00 versions).
Incredibly fast systems miscount incredibly fast.

Hello.
1) Where in Arena do you set the time control, can you please share a screenshot?
2) 20s + 3s bonus is a fast time control. With such a setting the engine does not use 20s per move, but allocates the time budget per move dynamically, taking into account the expected number of moves left to play. I just tested with 3.5.1 that if I use the per-move time tc, then both 1.04 and 2.00 observe the setting. I expect that with 20s + 3s TC the engines will play at roughly 500ms per move clip.

I don't quite understand what screenshots you're talking about. When I run a tournament with 20s+3s tc, Sturddle thinks an average of 2 sec per move. So it doesn't use the initial time, but gradually accumulates time. Usually by move 60 it accumulates about 1 min 20 sec on the clock.

Ah I see. I will look into it, meanwhile you can try TCs without per-move bonuses, i.e. 20s instead of 20s+3s.
Thanks for bringing this up to my attention.
