the most recent SF versions seem to be a bit better again,
end 2024 i preferred Obsidian rather than Sf because the latter
more often indicated 0.0 in some (imo) unclear endgame positions.
As it stands now, for correspondence chess it doesn't matter so much
which engine is used. When starting a new tourn, i usually choose
slightly off beat openings, hoping my opponent will go wrong (when
looking to an opening book, rather than doing more in depth analysis).
