You're behaving like a horrible person. The first to start this unjustified accusation against Strelka of cloning, and yet after it has been proven that it was not a clone you have chosen not to apologise, and instead you continue your personal attacks against the engine's author.
Leto, anyone hates a good competition, dont you think?

Tony, at least you should have answered to Leto that I had never accused Strelka of being a clone. It looks like you either thought I had, or you let this pass on without noticing, and I do not know which is worse.

I think he will decide himself to write or not to write at this forum. Without neither my nor your advises.
BTW, I see there are a lot of advisers here. May be evil cloners cloned my parents? ))

OK: some feel bad AND answer with the same coin.
Some other, nevertheless, has not that killer instinct.
Some others, like me, has the standard Internet two inches of skin, so I can bear anything, even if you make of me also a target of a post. But do not:
I can also answer with my own broadsides.
But this guy is not so and deserve some respect.
We have became, all here, a bunch of really nasty bastards.

As a journalist, you should remember that we have heard absolutely nothing from the man himself.

So you are actually taking side for the middlemen.

And if his soul is really wounded by what has been said here, don't worry. If his program is really strong, he's going to get a year of ***-licking. He will feel better.

The fact that we have no listened him in person does not change what we have read here about him. And To be journalist - in fact I am not- means nothing respect to this.
I hope it will never happens to you.

You should read the CCC archives since 1998 or so and you would then understand how it works. I'm as nice as possible given this history.

I wish he will just join us. It's much better to avoid misunderstanding to speak directly to the man, even if there is a language barrier.

Computer chess is not compatible with "truly vulnerable personalities".

I suggest that if it is the case, then in his own interest he should find another hobby.

If not, then the only thing that counts is how strong his program is. All the rest will be forgotten, including wrong accusations and how strong they have been expressed.

OK, agreed, this sounds better. I, as some others i think, misunderstood your mail and intentions. The problem with text is that you don't get the non-verbal communication of the author, so easily misunderstood.

Best regards,

Kaj
