Hi Uri,

I don't have any CPU time for the experiments like that.
I have 2 comps in my basement working 24 hours a day testing new changes, and my list of changes is still very big.

Time control in my test was 40/4'
It is possible that I could squeeze more ELO by tuning my time management for blitz. I noticed that Naum sometimes thinks up to 40sec for 1 move because it's stubbornly trying to complete the depth. On the other hand Rybka often plays obvious moves instantly and gets a huge time advantage.
I know exactly how to fix this, but it's still sitting on my todo list. I have a big hopes for that change in terms of improving the score vs Rybka.

Regards,
Alex

Make an AR option/version. AR=Anti Rybka
It will be the 1st in the chess world!

Rybka changes from current version to v3 will be much more than from v3 to v3.1. So I recommend you wait until v3 to minimize the surprises

But on the other hand, waiting could make you miss some good sales opportunity. So you can make Naum v2.3 with the version that does best against non-rybka for now and keep the AntiRybka after Rybka v3
