I read about this release in Chess2U Forum yesterday; I was hoping that someone in this forum would post here... it seems that I have to do it!
HoudiConfig for Houdini 3 is available!
So, only original copies of Houdini 3 can use HoudiConfig 1.7, that should still work with previous versions, as far as I understood; Thomas Miller also asks to Robert if the default piece values are the following ones:Thomas Miller wrote:HoudiConfig for Houdini 3 (Only Works With Original Versions not cracked ones)
HoudiConfig 1.7

These values seem strange to me, but I guess that CLOP by Rémi Coulom is involved in some manner. Of course I do not know if that version is original or not.Thomas Miller wrote:@Robert, the "Default Values" button doesn't work properly, or this is correct?
93 pawn value
400 knight value
400 bishop value
600 rook value
1100 queen value
42 bishop pair value
Have fun!

The "HoudiniConfig" tuning should no longer work with Houdini 3.
In due course (could take a couple of months) I intend to release a special "Tuning" version of Houdini 3 with an officially supported configuration tool for modifying internal evaluation parameters.
