+ 22 elo at this time for Komodo MP. Close match, I wonder how Stockfish would do if played at xx/yy time control? In my testing Stockfish does better with a steady time control, instead of losing time each move. Stockfish loses ground against the other programs as time controls get faster. I can't say this would happen in this regard when playing Komodo MP. I have not tested Komodo MP at this time, just other top programs.
Hi Mark,
Perhaps you must play a match between them than
And btw how did your 96 games LTC Chess match ended in dec 2012?
You uploaded the games on Youtube but you stopped at game 50
Houdini than had +7=7-1 against Stockfish 2.3.1
I stopped uploading because You Tube changed some of their account policies at the end of the year, that I did not like. I think they have ironed some of those out, if so I will upload more videos.
Still shocked at how many people have watched some of the videos, I thought there only like 10 people in the world that would watch computer chess like me.

Komodo MP wins with 26,5 points out of 50 games.
Stockfish Dev was a strong opponent and got 23,5 out of 50.

Thank you very much, Clemens!
It was an interesting affair, too many draws, but the games were worth it.
Also the book lines were a matter of interest, although some of those were very much suboptimal. I think the shorter lines from the Houdini-Komodo match were probably a better choice for strength measurements.

Hello Lyudmil
The used book is playing in wide mode, so it produces sometimes unusual openings, sometimes even lost possitions out of book. Not verry often, but it does.
Both engines play the opening with white and with black, which makes it fair again. For me it is also intresting how engines play e.g. Birds opening or Larsen. ;->
