How do you suggest TCEC cover its operating costs then? If you don't want to deal with an unobtrusive advertisement/optional donation button, no one's obligating you to watch TCEC. In any case, you seem to be the only one taking issue with TCEC generating ad revenue from their website.

Many people have problems, they just can't be honest and write it down.

Even the majority of human chess tournaments have sponsors which the tournament organizers advertise for in return. By your logic, the upcoming world chess championship should be cancelled.

Let's not mix human and chess engine tournaments. These are two different things.
