Me neither. Fortunately, out of curiosity, I once did some testing with the binomial distribution, and hence I know that unless the number of voters is very small, the chances of my vote making a difference are vanishingly small, so I don't mind.
Human chess is partly about tactics and strategy, but mostly about memory

It’s my personal opinion. In the end I go with the majority FG view.
Moderator elections bring out a lot of nasty personal shit, they also bring out gossiping people with nothing better to do who make practically zero contribution at other times. Others who want to wreck talkchess, settle personal scores or who are either attracted to trouble or like to make it. Nothing changes as a result, there will still be those who want to define their in-group by bullying others who are not in their group. The ones who think they are uber smart and talkchess is full of idiots will continue think the same and doing the same behaviours.
This place should be just a boring special interest group doing boring stuff about the special interest.

Speaking of gossip...
Seems pretty clear that our glorious leaders have no intent on running any fair elections. First they hold out and delay the process as long as possible; Then they start throwing around false bans against those who they disagree with; And now we have some disgusting attempt at credentialism. Next we'll just get to select between Kang and Kodos.
Add "removing valid voters who will vote against the established rule" to my list? Very lame.

Hello, my name was also on the original list and now removed. Could you check it along with the others?

Cheers!

For the time being, I trust Ed*s words on how he is going to proceed.

Yes, Andrew, I understand you ascribe terrible bad motives to those you don't like and big yourself up as the greatest but unrecognised genius ever to have walked the planet. This involves a lot of lying, embellishing, omitting and/or twisting facts etc. etc. The me-good, others bad stuff is a sure sign of narcissism and the lying that goes with it, a sign of Machiavellianism. The bullying you organise against out-people is a sign of psychopathy. If you learn all this behaviour whilst still a youth, one dreads to imagine the sort of adult you'll turn into. My advice is to exit computer chess, just treat it as a bad formative experience in a (for some reason) dysfunctional space and try starting again elsewhere. Honest, if brutal attempt at help, btw.

Can you please re-add me as well? Maybe a general cross-check between the first list and the updated one would be good.

Yup, will do. I think the problem is/was that I got bored with all the nasty critique and bad motive accusations and didn't actually check any output at all for sense. Hence the bundles of apparent errors. I'm not exactly motivated to continue working (voluntarily) for what appears to be a lot of nasty people, with very obvious mental health disorders, to be hurling abuse at every turn.

My advice is to run a fair election or be an open dictator, but not pretend a middle-ground.
