Hi John. Yes, i do like my new Junior engine, so much that i made a logo for it.

Your Junior custom settings are doing surprisingly well so far in my tourney, very close to my Komodo settings. I'll post the standings at the halfway mark.
I love the new Junior engine as well! I might have to try to make a gambit setting for it as well. This sounds like a fun tournament. I almost want to buy Chesstiger and try a gambit tournament myself! :)

Thanks for the logo, David! I never found a really cool one for Junior until this one.

Would you add Rybka 3 (regular), as suggested by Dann Corbit, to see how she does ?

Rybka 3 is much too strong for a fun tournament such as this.

Great! If you make a Junior gambit setting, could you share it, i'd like to test it. Komodo personalities are also fun to play with. How about trying a gambit setting for it also?

If this 'thing' really is on 'that site' it is exactly what is expected, a clone
or fake of something else. BTW this site is known to be illegal since long,
ask Peter or any long time member here, if you don't believe me...

Ooook but hummmmm, "it is a aristical engine based on sacrifices, kings attacks and dynamic play, not so many engines play like this, the other ones i know are ProDeo 1.2 and Homer." could be a clone, but I would like to try to know if it is too agressive as was said.

Why should we care? Somehow I knew from the beginning of this thread that some "computerchess enthusiast" is going to suggest some of the clones. These "chess fans" are all acting very similar, most likely brcause they are intellectually so much ahead of us: when ever they see an opportunity they advertise their fine software massively.

Meanwhile I'm pretty bored of this. One thing is pretty sure I guess: the day will come when one of this ingenious creations of the smartest software engineers we have will turn out to have a special gift inside. A worm, a virus, a bot, a rootkit or something similar. It happened in the past and it will happen again.

And I'm happily looking forward to that day.
