I can't find Blaze's binary on your website. Could you share it and Freda's windows binaries too?

Best,
Carlos
Guenther wrote: Thu Aug 10, 2023 12:56 pm It seems I forgot to inform and upload about a new version of an engine in 02/2023.

Trappist (which was tested in CCRL) was renamed to Blaze later and had a source only release in 02/2023 for Blaze 0.1.
I added the information to the chronology. Engine compilation is available too now.

https://github.com/antaz/blaze
https://rwbc-chess.de/download.htm

Edit: also compiled a bmi2+popcnt binary just today, but noticed it would run here too with the same speed ;)
(which means it uses no advanced hardware instructions anyway)
Ah, thanks for informing I see now that it is flagged as suspicious now by google drive and only visible for me ;)
I will change the link to my server to the false_positive folder (tomorrow).

Removed many eval features, added piece-relative PSTs, more data, and some smaller tweaks. Also fixed some bugs (multithreading seems to be better now). Roughly 95 Elo improvement in selfplay to Nalwald 17.1.

New Rebel by Ed Schroeder is out:

"REBEL-EAS is an in between version based on the same, but more, neural net data as REBEL-16.2 but heavily modified during the last 5 months in order to make REBEL to play more aggressive and runs as a module under Chess System Tal 2.0

. REBEL 16.2 gains an EAS score of : 80.258
. REBEL-EAS gets an EAS score of : 160.569

As a cherish on the cake the playing strength of the neural net has increased with 20-25 elo using balanced positions. Using the TCEC positions composed by Jeroen Noomen and GM Matthew Sadler adds another 26 elo points while the draw rate dropped with almost 20%."

https://rebel7775.wixsite.com/rebel/blank-2

I started my testruns (SPCC-Ratinglist and UHO-Top10-Ratinglist). Will take 4 days (10000 games UHO-Top10 Testrun and 16000 games SPCC-Ratinglist testrun). Then we will see, what the EAS-scoring of Rebel-EAS really is - in my EAS-Ratinglist (calculated out of my SPCC-Ratinglist gamebase)...

The CT800 V1.45 has been released, with about +120 Elo.
Relevant for the UCI version:
  • Added machine-tuned piece values and square tables.
  • Improved futility pruning.
  • When being in check, the move time is reduced by 33% instead of 50%.
  • Capturing a castling enabled rook and then recapturing with another rook no longer keeps the castling rights.
  • Removed tbhits output in search.
  • No prebuilt executables supplied for Raspberry Pi anymore.
