It should be compatible, thanks for testing ;)

From what I gather, Zahak has a very good understanding of opening, so the advantage that Zahak will get from using the book will most likely be time advantage only
Adding init string zanak -book "C:\Program Files (x86)\Arena\Engines\komodo.bin" crashes zanak and /or BSG. What next? :(

The only way I think it would work, is if you create a batch file that launches Zahak with -book argument, and name it say, zahak_book, and load it into banksia

I realize this is super inconvenient sorry. Will probably add it as a UCI option for the next release (if I have time to do so before then, as I'm already very close to the release date)

OK thank you, I have also tried to copy the Stockfish PB (polyglot book) json code, but it doesn't see it. I'll wait your next version for the SuperBlitz.

Found on the web another FREE interesting engine + nnue and managed to install it on my system disabling an AVX2.dll  hoping that it will stay stable (I bet it will be better than other commercial engines ) ...Started testing it on my SuperBlitz, too.

Language: C
The engine is: Open Source. GPL-3.0 License.

Please, could somebody compile it also for macOS Silicon M1 and Linux ARM64?

Coiled literally uses a stockfish net. In my book, that's a SF "derivative".

Thank you for the info, you are right :)
It is not reported on the engine page and it uses a .dll for the NN, not common on SF. Since it's based on AVX I cannot still test Coiled (I've asked to the author if he can compile a version for my system) ...The problem here is that I cannot delete/edit my own posts after some minutes and it's the reason for using also a Chess.com page for publishing the results and the related infos.

It's strong also if it doesn't include an NN!
