It looks to me, that the seller got some offers, to sell directly; this showed him, that he had a valuable piece of chess computer! And so he decided to go for a high Buy-it-now.
Bad luck for the guys, who made him these offers...
even though the seller has 47 completed auctions he is only a member since this year
dealing with sellers like this is always very risky business
even if this auction is allowed to end normally
the computer can arrive defective and there will be problems with a man like this who has little or no honor to his name

i think there is only one offer because many people dont want to make an offer to someone who is asking a ridiculous price for the computer
i do not like it when someone offers a computer for an absurd price and i think that other people do not want to make offers to someone like this who will only reject the offer
