Another quote I like is about the different approach to chess humans have, compared to computer programs:

"First, we could choose a goal and figure out how to get there, whereas computers had to start with the available moves and see where they led."

The author William Saletan has managed to explain complex things in short words, but it's flawless, not a faulty reduction.

Remarkable.
