Re: what is illegal??
I don't see how that's possible considering the buyer thought the Rolex belonged to the seller.Spock wrote:I think in that case it is bothchesstango wrote: a person who offers a stolen Rolex in ebay (for example) or the person that buys it in good faith???
Re: what is illegal??
I stand corrected - in the UK the person buying has to know or believe that the goods are stolen in order to have committed a crimeLeto wrote:I don't see how that's possible considering the buyer thought the Rolex belonged to the seller.Spock wrote:I think in that case it is bothchesstango wrote: a person who offers a stolen Rolex in ebay (for example) or the person that buys it in good faith???

Porn is legal in most countries. It's a non sequitur. Although child porn isn't in the West.chesstango wrote:a porn site or those people that view the site???

Re: what is illegal??
In some cases ilegality supposes accomplices, as the case when a thief sells his stuff to a knowing person.
Somke other cases, braking the law can be done alione.
In both cases is the law which defines the breaking of it, not the number of breakers of it.

How can me or Terry live without porn. Porn makes our sad, loney lives merrier. As far as I know, only Child porn is illegal. Porn is probably illegal in China or in a conservative muslim country, then again alcohol is illegal in certain countries.Terry McCracken wrote:Porn Sites are Legal. Viewing Porn is Legal. He's wrong about the chess programs as well. For instance, WBEC Ridderkerk offers chess programs for free, and neither it nor its users are doing anything illegal or wrong.Terry McCracken wrote:Porn Sites are Legal. Viewing Porn is Legal.
