A plug for Deep Frenzee 3.0

Post by Dann Corbit »

Deep Frenzee 3 is quite a strong chess engine (around Scorpio strength, I think). For some reason it does not get talked about very much, but it is a good addition to any chess engine collection.

It also seems to have especially good tactics and so is valuable for alternative advice in tactical positions.

Too bad the old posts gets deleted. I reported a 100 elo gain from version 1.1 to 2.0 not too long ago.

I'd put it closer to 60 ELO, but still a fine and under used engine as Dann says

I did say in my old post that I only had 120 games, so no conclusions should be drawn.

_No one can hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you can hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward….
