For those that haven't heard of OLPC you can find info here:

Basically it stands for One Laptop Per Child, with the aim of creating a laptop for US$100 that can be used to educate children in developing countries. It's Linux based and there are 2.5 million already on order. I think this could be huge. Surely it such a machine should have a decent chess program? What do others think?
