Hello:

Besides Latex, is there good software available to produce quality diagrams,, notation, annotation, and multiple columns? Can Chessbase products or Chess Assistant do this?

Thanks,

Louis

With Chessbase you can output an annotated game with diagrams as a .rtf format text file, which can then be edited into multiple columns etc with a word processing program.

I think Latex can provide results of professional level, like in this example.

Besides Latex, I like very much the printed version of Chess Informant. But I am not sure if you can produce this with Chess Informant Expert. According to its description, it has a built-in chess orientated text editor. Perhaps you can write to the suggested e-mail address for additional info.
