I downloaded and played Chess Alex at 40 moves/60 minutes and it was a draw. I did that in order to have a better idea of the strength of this engine, as much the 2100 rating given by his author perhaps only apply to a previous version, 1,5, but not to this last one, 2,0.
Somebody have an idea about that?
My impression on the ground of just one game is not enough. Certainly IS NOT an above 2300 engine, but could be 2200 or at least 2150.

I downloaded precisely that, 2.0, 15 days to test it. I got a draw after hard fight....or better said, Alex got it from me.
Yes, it has a nice gui, though not specially original.
I suppose for the price is a worthy acquisition after all. Probably I will purchase it. Not every day you have good game against an engine.....

According to wbec It is quite weak. Why not get one of those ranked 2200-2300 if you want a reasonable game?
