Hello,
I'd like to know if I can upgrade my Dell Axim x51v to Windows Mobile 6 Classic and continue enjoying PocketGrandmaster and other chess programs?
I'm not even sure the OS is already available and that we can upgrade without trouble.

Hi,
most programs should work under WM 6 Classic.
CEBoard displays a few error messages but works fine after them ; I know how to fix this but did not have time to test the correction on other platforms.
But don't expect to be able to upgrade easily your Axim : Windows Mobile is not distributed by Microsoft to end users but to device makers which can then customize it (and especially add the drivers for their devices).
And as Dell stopped its Axim line, I don't expect them to provide the upgrade.
