"Hi All,

The long awaited server move is finally getting underway.

As you all know, Steve is no longer very active with Your Move, so this move, which was planned for Febuary, ended up being a bit delayed while we sorted everything out.

I've sort of fallen in to defacto caretaker of the talkchess.com domain. I've been working with some people trying to sort out the best way to get the site over to a new server. This should allow us to keep the older posts for much longer than they currently are kept for, something often requested by members.

My understanding is that the move is now imminent. The upside is that we will have a more stable server, and be able to perserve old topics for posterity. The downside is there may be some downtime or lost post over the next couple days (These things never seem to go smoothly, do they?

I look forward to seeing talkchess.com (the computer chess reports and chess thinkers forum) remain as successful as it has been, and continue to grow for many years to come.
