Hello all, I saw an ad on German ebay for a Berlin Pro, and
noticed the pieces that come with it don't match my Berlin Pro
pieces. I was wondering if someone here who also happens to
own one could look at the pictures:
http://cgi.ebay.de/Schachcomputer-Mephi ... dZViewItem
and tell me if the pieces there, which look plastic to me, are in fact
the originals. Mine came with a wooden set, which I would expect
to be more befitting a machine of this calibre.
To be sure, they are a beautiful machine
regards
Larry

Re: Anyone with a Berlin Pro here?
Thanks for the response, but you had me feeling a little bit down,
thinking I got an expensive machine with non-original pieces.
Anyway, today I decided I was'nt using the London Pro enough, so
I thought I'd put it back in it's box and up in the robe room again. On
opening the box, there they were, the original plastic pieces and the
disc piece set, all still in their sealed bags. I got a bit confused, and
forgot that I'd decided to leave them in their pristine condition and
use another piece set instead.
The pieces I've been using are Novag Obsidian pieces, nice
weighted wooden ones.
all the best to you
