New free chess database needs testers

As ChessX is actively developed and new features are being added and considered it needs you to be the tester.

ChessX's aim is to be new chess database, just like SCID has been for year, but with modern interface and looks. It runs on MacOS X, Windows and Linux.

Even better if you'd like to participate in development, or in wider sense, creation of it (ChessX needs art creators, documentation writers and so on).

This is very good stuff... I like what you did so far... I'm having some trouble setting an UCI engine though... Works fine for Winboard (Using Crafty).

I should have noted clearly - I am not a creator of ChessX. It is developed by a international group of developers whom I am helping by promoting ChessX, a bit testing and gathering feedback.

I am realy happy that you've liked what you've seen. I myself enjoy the looks of ChessX too. If you had any specific problems with UCI engines or any other with any feature or lack of one in ChessX I'll be glad to hear from you.

It is good to have your help fernando. It'd be great to hear from you what you think about ChessX. You can download it for Windows, Linux has the source download. Give it a try and be honest . I know myself that ChessX has some feature missing - it is very young software.
