The registration deadline is midnight (pacific time) July 18.
At the moment, we have 37 authors and their programs entered from
12 countries. I'd like to see the entrants reach the 70's. So, all join.
The strength of your engine doesn't matter. Those with weak engines
will likely learn much from chatting with the other authors.
We have some very strong programs (Rybka and Hiarcs just to
mention two) and we have some programs in the 1200 to 1800
range. So, no program is too weak to enter.

What does WCRCC stand for? I thought that the (ICGA) world computer speed chess champion for 2007 is Shredder. Is that a breakaway organisation or what's the deal? David Levi (president of the ICGA) was arbiter in the President Cup which meant Fritz and Junior missed out on the WCCC 2007. So he unwittingly participated in the the playing truant of the above mentioned programs.

Computer Chess is like boxing anyone can stage an event and attach any number of letters to their event and call it what they want. The only thing missing is the Don King of chess (with a hairstyle to match).
