Re: text to pgn format conversion
You have posted PGN. The only difference to standard PGN I notice is, that usually there is a space between the move number and the move, like 1. d4 (I don't know if the standard requires the space and if that could cause problems).
If I import and re-export your PGN from Fritz 8, it looks like this:
[Event "Linares ;CBM 34 Anand"]
[Site "10"]
[Date "1993.??.??"]
[Round "?"]
[White "Anatoli Karpov"]
[Black "Garry Kasparov"]
[Result "0-1"]
[ECO "E86"]
[PlyCount "54"]
[EventDate "1993.??.??"]
1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 g6 3. Nc3 Bg7 4. e4 d6 5. f3 O-O 6. Be3 e5 7. Nge2 c6 8. Qd2
Nbd7 9. Rd1 a6 10. dxe5 Nxe5 11. b3 b5 12. cxb5 axb5 13. Qxd6 Nfd7 14. f4 b4
15. Nb1 Ng4 16. Bd4 Bxd4 17. Qxd4 Rxa2 18. h3 c5 19. Qg1 Ngf6 20. e5 Ne4 21. h4
c4 22. Nc1 c3 23. Nxa2 c2 24. Qd4 cxd1=Q+ 25. Kxd1 Ndc5 26. Qxd8 Rxd8+ 27. Kc2
Nf2 0-1
Fritz 7 or higher supports normal copy & paste for games. To import, mark the complete game (incl. headers if PGN), press Ctrl-C, start a new game in Fritz and press Ctrl-V. In reverse, you can export a single game from Fritz and paste into any text application or message board posting. PGN is the suitable format, because most interfaces read it and the game infos (players...) are included.
It may require configuration: In Fritz, choose from the menu
Tools/Options, Clipboard --> Game/Text --> PGN.
Or choose the "Old Format" for Text there, if you usally would like an ASCII format which is suitable for magazine articles or other printed material. Your example would look like this:
Anatoli Karpov - Garry Kasparov [E86]
Linares ;CBM 34 Anand 10, 1993
1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.Nc3 Bg7 4.e4 d6 5.f3 0-0 6.Be3 e5 7.Nge2 c6 8.Qd2 Nbd7 9.Rd1 a6 10.dxe5 Nxe5 11.b3 b5 12.cxb5 axb5 13.Qxd6 Nfd7 14.f4 b4 15.Nb1 Ng4 16.Bd4 Bxd4 17.Qxd4 Rxa2 18.h3 c5 19.Qg1 Ngf6 20.e5 Ne4 21.h4 c4 22.Nc1 c3 23.Nxa2 c2 24.Qd4 cxd1Q+ 25.Kxd1 Ndc5 26.Qxd8 Rxd8+ 27.Kc2 Nf2 0-1
I forgot details about Winboard's PGN capabilities, but it basically supports it, also FEN for positions. I am not 100% sure at the moment but I think it supports copy&paste, too. You will find it in the menu.
There is an additional selection for old and new PGN format, in Fritz. The difference is, how engine calculation infos are stored and displayed. The old version is easier to read directly from PGN with the human eye, but the new version supports the evaluation profile display and the chess clock in Fritz.
You can also save in PGN format, if you create a new database in PGN format and save your games into it. That can be one single game, or thousands, within one single file. But for Fritz, I would recommend large PGN files only if you need to export for another application, because the database operations are much faster with the CBH format. (CBF can also be interesting because there are some other programs in addition to Fritz which support CBF but not CBH.)
Such PGN files are ASCII text and can be edited directly with a text editor (if there is no file size limit problem). Do not save such files from Word as .doc files because that is not ASCII format.

Thank you for your help. I tried to go to help, but there were no results, I found out that I accidentally typed in the wrong letters.
