I am having a problem getting Crafty to Show Current Thinking Move. Here is my wb2uci.eng file:

[ENGINE]
Name=Crafty 21.5
Author=Robert Hyatt, USA
Filename=Wb2Uci.exe

[OPTIONS]
Program = crafty-21.5.exe
log off
InitString = resign 0
HashCommand = hash %iM
ShowThinkingMove = true
WhiteScore = true
OwnBook = true
InitTime = 5
Visible = Ponder,Hash,Extras,Logfile,computer,ShowThinkingMove

[EXTRAS]
NalimovPath=tbpath|string|c:\tablebases
NalimovCache=cache %iM|spin|4|1|32

Does the 20.14 crafty version in eng format show the current move? Is that infinite analysis or is crafty 21.5 playing a game?

The Crafty 20.14 that comes from Chessbase shows current thinking move. The version 21.5 came from craftychess.com and is a winboard engine, that's why I'm using wb2uci. None of my WB crafty's (any version) show current thinking move when using wb2uci adapter (1.2 or 1.3). Playing or in Analysis.

Note: Prodeo 1.5 works just fine, using wb2uci.

It is likely that Chessbase in producing the 20.14 in eng format did something to the code for it to support showing thinking time. Unless someone can also make the same change to 21.5, you might have to wait for Chessbase to release an eng version.

That's more than likely correct. Thanks for the help.
