chessclub.com is not there anymore. BlitzIn (their interface) can't connect to it either. For over 3 days now. I am a paying member. This never happend before

I can connect there fine, like yestrday and the day before.
Don't know what the problem is on your side, but ICC is there and running.

Currently there are 1835 members online.

Yesterday as an experiment I wanted to know if it is possible to connect to a chessserver using a Chess GUI, ChessPartner in this case, but I could not get it to work. I probably did something wrong, by entering a computer related name or something, but now the whole site of FICS, the Free Internet Chess Server, at http://www.freechess.org/ seems to be down?
The page was still there a few days ago, I just read some of the information pages, I don't have any account. Did I trip some blocking mechanism or is the site invisible to everybody at the moment? Today there is still nothing, not even some notice page, I just get a blank trying to reach the address, the page does not seem to exist from here. Can anybody reach FICS at the moment?

"Dead" is a bit of an overstatement, but it looks bad:

Thanks a lot for the info Teemu! Well at least the organization is still alive and they are answering to messages! But it looks like a serious malfunction.. The FICS server must really not have liked the way I had set up my Internet connection in ChessPartner or was scared of my Fruit 05/11/03 Gambit 006 taking over the place!
