I wonder what is the rule of choosing opponents.

Here are the full results of movei in your games:

Fruit2.3.1 2860 -Movei 9-1
Alaric707 2689-Movei 6-4
Movei-Thinker4.7a 2588 6.5-3.5
Movei-Colossus2007c 2579 5.5-4.5
Movei-Kiwi0.6d 2481 6-4
Movei-Bruja1.9 2425 7.5-2.5
Movei-Abrok5 2419 7.5-2.5
Movei-Homer2.01 2391 8.5-1.5
Movei-Nejmet3.07 2386 9-1
Movei-Danasah3.30beta 2377 9.5-0.5

Based on the pgn
first 5 opponents were Fruit Alaric Thinker Colossus and Homer.

Movei scored 25.5/50 against them but it seems that later opponents were clearly weaker

Hello Sedat, thanks to include DanaSah in your list.

I prefer to use for rating list and tournament serious the versions non beta of DanaSah (3.13) since DanaSah 3.30 beta has been a experiment for bullet, but in long times it very possibly makes it worse than the 3.13.

Best,

Pedro

Hello Uri,

Congratiolations to you...as you said, the latest version ''Movei 0.08.438'' seems to be at least 50 elo stronger than the public version !

There is no any special rule ...
But anyway i take care when choosing the opponents :
-Mostly Multi-Processor Engines play against Multi-Processor Engines
-Mostly Single-Processor Engines play against Single-Processor Engines
-No testing between same engines (its not allowed against older versions)

Best,
Sedat

Hello Pedro,

Thanks for your interest

I understand...but normally i preffer to use the last versions
In case of seriously Engine's bugs (loose on time,crashes...) then i am going to change the engine

Sedat
