About elections (technical)

Post by Sylwy »

Hello Graham !

Some technical questions:

1.Must I vote for both CCC & CTF or just for only one ?
2.If two nominees are " ex-equo" -after poll- which are the criterions who decides ?
3.In which situations the votes are nullified ?
4.It's possible -theoretical at least- the same person to be elected moderator in both CCC & CTF ?
5.It's imperative a minimum of members to vote for the availability of the elections ?

Thank you and success for you and your colleagues ! I support your team.

Regards,
Sylwy

I'm pretty sure you can vote for one and not the other.

2.If two nominees are " ex-equo" -after poll- which are the criterions who decides ?

Not quite sure what you mean here.

3.In which situations the votes are nullified ?

If you've been a member for at least three months, your votes will count. I don't think it's possible to screw up the voting.

4.It's possible -theoretical at least- the same person to be elected moderator in both CCC & CTF ?

Yes - I guess so.

5.It's imperative a minimum of members to vote for the availability of the elections ?

No.

Thanks.

If you are talking about two guys getting the same amount of votes, for the third place, then there would be another election to decide the winner. It happend last time around CTF when MCmad and Sam Hull tied for the third place. The second election yielded the same results, so there were four moderators at CTF before Mark Boylan eventually decided to resign.
