It's about chess - a chess ending that happened in the game GM Berg, Emanuel - WGM Zhao Xue in Täby 2007. White won it in time scramble.
It's also a problem - of mine.
We see a classical ending with good Knight vs bad Bishop. Easy win for white - yes? But how...? Maybe it´s the years - but ideas are moving slow in my head - and my computer just ain't no faster, no brighter...
So I need help.
Maybe this one can turnout beeing a nice testposition in an ending suite...
Some clues for the Sherlocks:
1) If it was black's move - it's all over - finished. He cannot allow the white
Kg5. (pos 1)
2) If the white Knight was on f3 (h3) he would win right away with 1.Ng5!
The mighty Knight could not be allowed to e6 - c7 x a6 - c7 -a8 - b6.
And 1.-Bd7 allows 2.Nf7+ and again the happy white King reaches g5.
If white plays his Knight to f3/h3 - then the black King must be on g6 -
not h6. (pos 2)
I'm hoping for help from fast computers - good programs - witty chess-
players and maybe even assistance from NZL - ISR etc corrchampions

Mission: Show me the win - or prove the win was just a dream...
[d] 4b3/8/p1p4k/1pPpNp2/1P1P1P1K/P7/8/8 w - - 0 93
This position is easily won for white if it was black on the move
[d] 4b3/8/p1p4k/1pPp1p2/1P1P1P1K/P6N/8/8 w - - 0 100
In this position white wins with 1.Ng5! Black must be careful to have his
King on g6 when the white Knight moves to f3/h3.
Thank you for your time.
