Mega Knockout 2007-II

Intel Pentium 4
Single Processor- 2.8ghz
128mb hash
3 & 4 man tablebases
Perfect 12.32.ctg book
40 moves in 66 minutes repeating (adapted to CCRL 40/40)
All engines = 32 bit 1CPU
Each match consists of 10 games
Run by George Speight

Just a few notes on Round 1. All engines played well with the surprising exception of Homer. It just never got started good. And its not the latest version, either. But i think Movei, Gosu and Hamsters should be duly noted. They played their competition right down to the end. Especially Hamsters. The Baron had to play 2 sudden death games ag. Hamsters to seal that deal. Hamsters played extremely well! Looking forward to the 2nd round. Again, thanks to all the programmers and their hard work that makes this possible!
