Need help for Chessantime & winboard

Hello,
I use winboard for playing on chess servers. There is a small problem with chessanytime.com. When I use the F2 through F12 functions keys, the "$" is added before the command.
For instance, accepting a challenge is the F3 key. If I type F3, Winboard sends "$accept" instead of "accept" and the server says it is an invalid command of course. So I have to type manually the word "accept" in the box.
Is there a tweak or workaroung for this ?

Most servers have an "alias" command.
Try using the alias command, on the server,
to alias $accept to accept. If that works do the
same with the rest of the commands.
