Vista for Chessbase 9

Sorry, if someone has asked this before.

I plan to buy a new desktop with the intel quadcore CPU. Has anyone experienced any problems with Chessbase 9 running on windows vista?

I had a bunch of trouble with Vista and CB9. I wanted to be able to run chess engines at low priority so they wouldn't bog down my computer for other tasks, but because of Vista being very fussy about permissions it would not let me, the engines would only run with normal priority. I was able to fix it by launching CB9 using the "inbetween" utility, written by Odd Gunnar Malin. It took a bit of doing to get it set up, but it works well now. If I remember right you also have to tweak things to make Vista allow CB9 to save files. Vista can be a real pain in many ways.
