Hi Chris,

Thanks for the links, waiting for the compiled version from Jim.

Should be interesting to run the tourney between these 4 engines to know who wins,Just don't tell which of these is strongest :)

shall we see your post that titles "A new engine called Azrael" :D

C....which I was advised by others (and to whom im grateful for their input)....is the best language to program a chess engine in.

Of course it really depends what you know. There are some very strong engines written in other languages than C.

Thank you Jim. I'm going to have a play with it now. I found 3 others today all Java based. They all have xboard in there so fingers crossed.
