Move mod/admin topics to Forum Help and Suggestions

Post by Marek Soszynski »

I suggest that henceforth all moderation/administration topics should be moved to, or started in, the Forum Help and Suggestions subforum. That is the best place for them, and it is what, going by the description, that subforum was designed for - Post questions, complaints, suggestions, and tests here. The main General Topics forum - Discussion of anything and everything relating to chess playing software and machines - should be full of just that, not politics or internal matters, however important the latter may be.

I agree. Even the post by Ed in the programmers' no longer belongs there. Despite the fact that I agree with Grahams and Alberts initial judgement that it should stay there, by now it would be acceptable to move it out IMHO.

I agree fully. These threads have nothing to do with computer chess, and don't belong here.

Okay - it will be done now, but I can assure you that I'll be criticised yet again for doing so. It's very difficult to keep everybody happy.
