I have been playing several games between Arasan 10 and Chess Genius 7.2 in which Arasan 10 has been doing very well, but in this game Arasan makes a critical mistake in the endgame and must settle for a draw.

Re: Endgame blunder costs Arasan a win
I'll take a look at it. Arasan does get the idea that .. h3 is inferior but it is very slow to do so. If I move h3 then search I get:

Re: Endgame blunder costs Arasan a win
I thought by not playing the pawn to h3 Black would have a sure win. For some reason Slow Chess could not finish with a win even with a Bishop and 3 pawns vs Rook reaching the following postion after continuing the game with ...56 Nc4. Theoretically the following position should be won by black. Even though h3 was definitely not the best move by Arasan.

Re: Endgame blunder costs Arasan a win
Sorry! I posted the wrong position. The one I intended to show was the one where Slow Chess came down to a Bishop and three pawns against Whites Rook. THAT is thoretically is a won game for Black. Once again, I believe Black should have won by not playing ...h3 on move 56.
