Seeing all those screenshots reminded me of a question I had in mind - I have CM10000, but don't tend to play much in the way of rated games - still, I wouldn't mind checking out the locked piece sets. So is there a way? :D

Of course, the Special Ubisoft Rayman Raving Rabbids™ chess set will be the main reason I upgrade...

Thanks for the link.

Hi James. The only one that is worth anything is the "Old Wood" 3d set. The rest that you have to win so many rated games to unlock are pure junk- nothing a decent player would ever use. You are really not missing anything.

It isnt that hard to win rated games if you want those sets so badly. Just cheat, play against it using Rybka 1.0 beta or Fruit 2.3.

64 bit and MP, this is a huge step-forward in the Chessmaster's engine series. Now the different personality settings will get interesting.

With the cheap price that they put in stores, this can easily be the best commercial chess bargain. Amazing GUI with 64bit MP engine at only $30 is full of WIN

There also is a Fruit acknowledgement: http://chessmaster.us.ubi.com/xi/enlargepc.php?img=7680

I would rather play 1m+1sec against a 500 rated opponent.

BTW, i saw a screenshot and it had a King 64 bit.exe and also a King.exe I assume the latter is a 32 bit version. Tho i doubt i will purchase it unless it has a shitload of nice 3dsets and stronger king and personalities. But i dont know why. I cant beat the ones i have now. And CM10 has more good tutorials than i will ever be able to get to.

I am currently struggling against Sjeng 2.7 at 1300. At one time I went up to 1375, all of a sudden I started losing badly again so I started back from like 500, currently back to 809.
