Where are the new versions for Ktulu Chess by Rahman Paidar, Smarthink, and Gandalf?
Figured at least one of these would be coming out with new SMP engine.
Anyone have any recent news, especially concerning Ktulu?
What happened to all the Lokasoft engines?

Gandalf is an end of life product, I dont think Lokasoft is going to be carrying it any longer. As for smarthink, Sergei promised one around Christmas. I have no info about Ktulu.Kirk wrote:Where are the new versions for Ktulu Chess by Rahman Paidar, Smarthink, and Gandalf?

I seem to be remember that Ktulu was on one earlier preliminary starting list of the currently running tournament in Leiden, if i'm not mistaken.Tony Thomas wrote:Gandalf is an end of life product, I dont think Lokasoft is going to be carrying it any longer. I think I saw that also. I hope that if they do indeed release a new version of Smarthink and Ktulu, they release it two weeks apart.Kaj Soderberg wrote:I seem to be remember that Ktulu was on one earlier preliminary starting list of the currently running tournament in Leiden, if i'm not mistaken.

...and speaking of Lokasoft engines, the longer lasting silence here by Christophe Theron almost certainly means that Chess Tiger 2008 is coming up as well, momentarily captured in the cellar laboratory of CT.
