What motherboards support a dual QUAD setup?

I was thinking of a quad setup but for a little more money I might as well add another quad chip for a dual quad machine. Any suggestions appreciated.

you must find a MB ( motherboard ) that have chip control noth number more > 965

intel 965-975-p35 ? etc...

the best option test RAM maybe nothchip p35, because permit DDR2 and DDR3 ?

some previus Nvidea northchips 680i? and news can run QUAD

if you like QUAD check that revisio is "Go". better for Overclocking

but I think that a FAST DUAL with good ram and latency values are better...

None of those motherboards allow one to use two Quads in the same machine.

You need server boards in order to use 2 x quad processors.

For example Intel 5000 series. Of course you would need to buy Xeon processors to use with these boards.

oppss I undestand ( spanish is better for me ) that the user say:

ONE CPU, and dual or quad Cores in the same CPU...

obviusly, if the user say DUAL stocket... 8 cores, on 2 CPU that north-chips not permit that

xeon... or better k10 AMD.. opterons

If you want to go cheap then SuperMicro is what you are looking for.
